2 days into program planning placement~! Oh, experiencing both ups n downs in barely 2 days. One of the most exciting issues is that Janet n I are provided with our private office! Hahah.. We spent quite sometime yesterday re-arranging furniture n stuff to make ourselves as comfy as possible. Well, the downside of things is what we ought to spend most of our time in this office working on a quite uninteresting project - impact evaluation for kinders, for the upcoming 8 weeks. Yesterday we indeed felt a bit trapped in this project, not knowing what n how we shld start. However, i think we just need sometime to get our heads around the public health setting, as well as the acquired health promotion skills. Anyway, it could be cool to be unsupervised most of the time, but also challenging to be unguided. Umm.. perhaps they want us to go off by ourselves now.
PS. One very super funny joke Janet & I had during the placement: Our core initiative named "Go For Your Life".. And guess what it becomes when WE translated it into chinese?! "Go For Your Life" = 去你的命 (OMG~ This is hopeless chinese but extremely funny joke. Hahaha...)
